THE 'CASTLE' ROOM

We decided to paint the grandkids guest bedroom like a castle. This photo was taken at the beginning stages of the 'wall'.

Kitchen

We bought a gallon of paint for the accent wall and only used a little bit so now I hafta figure out what to do with the rest!

Wall

Tom worked all day on this wall....each block weighs 60 lbs and he had to lift them twice! He is building another wall to the right.

 

What's missing? hint....the TV!!

Tom built his own pillars because to buy them would have cost about 160 a piece!

Piano Room

We really like the color of the accent wall!

Basement Family Room 2

Curtains are white with Battenburg lace that I dyed using coffee but you cant see that because of my NON picture taking skills!

It's hard to see the correct color of the walls. There are 3 colors: wall/light beige..trim/a shade lighter than the walls ....accent wall/ light brown.

Computer Room

Almost done! we need Shane's expertise in setting up the computer. On the other side of the room is an identical bookcase and table. The table in the middle of the room will be outta there once we get the puter hooked up where it needs to be.

I'm not gonna show the TV hangin' on the wall til Tom gets the cabinets built because it looks kinda silly...like its floating in air!

Family Room

My kids have been asking repeatedly for me to post pics of our family room. I took colors from the chair and pillows for the paint and trim.....I am really glad that I didnt go with the darker paint chip!
